Where the Berimbau Plays
From Komotini to Vienna, Stockholm to Melbourne — we carry the spirit of Mestre Pit Bull's Jacobina Arte across borders. This is Capoeira: Afro-Brazilian tradition, European heart, global soul.
What Guides Us
Capoeira is more than a martial art — it's a living conversation between past and present, teacher and student, body and spirit.
History
We trace our roots to Mestre Pit Bull, who founded Jacobina Arte in Brazil and brought it to Greece in 2000. Through Mestre Ligeirinho, Contra Mestre Caveira, and instructors across Europe and beyond, we carry that lineage forward — not only as history, but as a living practice.
Community
In the roda, there are no strangers — only capoeiristas who haven't met yet. We challenge each other, protect each other, and celebrate each other. This is family.
Philosophy
Mestre Ligeirinho teaches with one core philosophy: 'Whatever the Berimbau Plays.' It means adaptability, openness, mastery across all styles. It means you don't just learn one way to play Capoeira — you learn to listen, respond, and adapt. Train with us in Greece, and you'll play Capoeira anywhere in the world with confidence and respect.
